Canadian tint law reference
Window tint laws in Canada, by province.
Every Canadian province and territory sets its own rules for how dark you can tint each window. Rear windows are unrestricted almost everywhere — front sides are where drivers get ticketed. Numbers below are the legal minimums for Visible Light Transmission (VLT) — the percentage of light that gets through the glass plus the film. Higher = lighter.
