Ceramic vs dyed
Ceramic rejects infrared heat. Dyed film just gets dark.
Dyed film goes dark by absorbing visible light — which does almost nothing for the heat you actually feel. Ceramic rejects infrared regardless of how dark it looks. A 50% ceramic can out-cool a 20% dyed film. Same car, cooler cabin, and far closer to legal on the front windows.

Precut window tint is ceramic film that's been computer-cut to match your vehicle's exact factory glass geometry — every door, quarter, and rear window sized for a specific year/make/model. You install it yourself with a squeegee and spray bottle; no blade ever touches your glass.

Is DIY window tint legal in Canada?
Rear side windows and the back glass are unrestricted in every Canadian province. Front side windows require 70% VLT or higher in most provinces, which effectively rules out aftermarket film there. See our tint law page for your province.
