Why it matters

The guarantee is what makes people try.

Nearly everyone who orders is a first-timer. Knowing there's a replacement piece behind them is the difference between "someday" and "this weekend."

Diego smiling as he peels the liner off precut tint on the rear door of a Volkswagen Jetta.

I was terrified of the rear glass. Did the front doors first to practice — by the time I got to the back it felt easy. Zero bubbles after cure.

Priya installing dark ceramic window tint on the rear door of a Honda Civic in her garage.

Watched the video twice, took my time on the back doors, and honestly the hardest part was being patient. The Botch-It Guarantee is what made me brave enough to try.

Linda smoothing a dark precut tint sheet across a front door window inside a bright garage.

I kept thinking I was too old to learn this stuff, but the precut pattern made it straightforward. Once I got the top edge lined up, everything clicked.

Sarah pressing both hands against freshly applied dark tint on a rear door window.

I used to assume tint was one of those jobs you had to pay a shop for. Turns out you just need a clean space, patience, and a kit that's actually cut right.

Guarantee FAQ

What counts as botching a piece?

Anything that happens during install — creases, tears, dropped-in-the-dirt, over-stretched, cut-through, glue-side contamination. If you can't get it on the window looking right, that counts.

How do I claim a replacement?

Email us with your order number and tell us which piece you need again. That's it. No photos, no forms, no return.

Is there a time limit?

Yes — within 30 days of delivery. Replacements ship at the buyer's expense.

How many replacements are free?

One replacement piece per order at no cost for the film — you cover $22 shipping. No second replacements.

Does this replace the film warranty?

No. Botch-It covers install mistakes. The separate film warranty covers manufacturing defects — bubbling, peeling, purple fade.
