What counts as botching a piece?
Anything that happens during install — creases, tears, dropped-in-the-dirt, over-stretched, cut-through, glue-side contamination. If you can't get it on the window looking right, that counts.
How do I claim a replacement?
Email us at info@diytint.ca with your order number and tell us which piece you need again, or use the claim form on this site. We'll verify the order and send the replacement piece; you cover $30 flat shipping. One replacement per order.
Is there a time limit?
Yes. The replacement must be claimed within 30 days of delivery to your door.
How many replacements are free?
The replacement film is free, but you pay $30 flat shipping on it. Only one replacement piece per order is allowed; there are no second replacements.
Does this replace the film warranty?
No. Botch-It covers install mistakes. The separate film warranty covers manufacturing defects — bubbling, peeling, purple fade.
